Pros of WebHostingBuzz
WebHostingBuzz has published fast load times and reliable uptime. Their plans provide access to more than 450 apps that will be installed in just a few clicks. And that they have a 45-day refund policy for anyone who is not fully sold on their service.
Here’s an in-depth review of your performance over the past 6 months:
1. Fast Page Load Times (433 ms)
Speed is vital when choosing a number because it immediately impacts your visitors’ experience. For example, a two-second delay in loading time resulted in abandon rates of up to 87%.
And if your host is slow, to begin with, it will only get slower as you start creating new pages, hitting you right where it hurts: your wallet.
WebHostingBuzz has been showing excellent speed results, especially in March 2022 and August 2022. Over the past 6 months, they have maintained an average page load time of 433 ms, easily placing them among the 10 fastest hosts we have that reviewed it.
2. 45-Day Money-Back Guarantee
WebHostingBuzz offers a 45-day money-back guarantee for all shared, commercial, and reseller plans. VPS hosting plans, by contrast, are eligible for a refund within 30 days of purchase.
Other additional services, from dedicated servers to IP addresses, SSL certificates, and domain names, won’t be refunded. Like other hosts we’ve reviewed, a fee for the website name is going to be deducted from any refund.
However, unlike the ~ $14.99 quality range we’ve seen with domain names, WebHostingBuzz will only charge you $10.99 for a .com or .net.
3. Over 450 1-Click Applications and Free Migrations
WebHostingBuzz comes fully loaded with over 450 popular applications. Most install automatically in a few minutes and with a couple of clicks. There is no messy code that forces you to get your hands dirty.
If you already have an existing website that you want to bring, the WebHostingBuzz team will migrate it for free.
And if you’re a developer who needs to access more sophisticated functionality, you’re in luck too. Their servers totally support everything from HTML5 and JavaScript to PHP 5, MySQL 5, Perl, and more.
4. Great Uptime (99.97%)
WebHostingBuzz has shown 99.97% improved uptime for the past 6 months with just with only 10 outages.
So it is safe to mention that you will have your website up and running with WebHostingBuzz.
Last 6-month average uptime:
- August 2022: 99.99%
- July 2022: 99.97%
- June 2022: 100%
- May 2022: 99.94%
- April 2022: 99.96%
- March 2022: 99.96%
5. Green Web Hosting
WebHostingBuzz is committed to the environment and is sponsored and associated with The Woodland Trust.
The goal is to offset the power demand of your servers and keep all your hosting services carbon-neutral.
6. Annual Prepayment Discount with Same Renewal Price
The initial tag price for WebHostingBuzz is not that cheap relative to other hosts (more on that below) (more on that below).
But there are two price benefits that do work in your favor.
The first is that they need an annual prepayment discount. So if you bought the year, you get two months free across the board on all plans. Hence the breakdown looks like this:
- Personal: $74.99
- Developer: $124.99
- Business: $274.99
Also, the monthly price of each plan, with the annual option below:
Monthly Price | $7.49/mo | $12.49/mo | $27.49/mo |
Yearly Price | $74.99/yr | $124.99/yr | $274.99/yr |
The second advantage is that renewal fees do not increase.
Many other hosts will double their monthly price when their plan automatically renews. However, according to the WebHostingBuzz billing FAQ, the value you pay basically “freezes” and applies to all or all future renewals. So you don’t need to worry about a surprise high-level exposure on your Mastercard statement a year from now.
7. Fast Customer Support
WebHostingBuzz offers live chat, ticketing, and a knowledge domain for support.
We tested their live chat option and pride ourselves on the experience.
The customer representative was online in no time and answered all of our questions about shared hosting plans immediately and with knowledge.
Cons of WebHostingBuzz
WebHostingBuzz worked well across the board. Uptime and page load times were excellent. Free migrations are a nice perk, and therefore the refund policy is pretty fair too.
Unfortunately, a couple of categories also allow you to get off on top of the day.
Here is a brief summary of the most important problems we experienced.
1. No New Customer Discount
Some of the most profitable web servers on the market can cost you just a dollar or two a month.
How can they afford to be so cheap?
New customers get special prices to help improve the deal. So the plans are renewed at a better rate afterward. Combined with prepaid for up to 3 years, this can help you lock in for a really low rate with a replacement host.
Most of the opposing web servers we’ve reviewed follow this trend. In addition to WebHostingBuzz.
For instance, there is no long-term discount. Charge $7.49/mo for the most cost-effective personal package. This comes with a website, 20GB of SSD capacity, 1GB of memory, unrestricted bandwidth, and free SSL. That’s pretty decent on the surface, but the amount of storage is pretty poor. (Other hosts, including iPage, sell you unrestricted storage.) This simple package often does not provide a free name or regular backups.
If you want to upgrade to at least one of their larger plans to push these features, the developer plan costs $12.49/month, and therefore the Business option is $27.49/month. As mentioned above, you will prepay for the year to reduce the value a bit. And your renewal price won’t increase either.
But you can also miss out on a replacement customer discount and save a lot over the course of three years or so, as with most other hosts.
2. Odd Termination Clause
When you request a replacement host, you are generally excited to urge a replacement project from the bottom up. You are probably not thinking about what might happen in the future if a problem or problem arises.
We look at the fine print typically hidden in a host’s Terms of Service.
This is where you will generally find something that may prevent you from getting your refund or the service working as you think it should.
WebHostingBuzz has its own variation on this too. A weird termination clause dictates how plans are renewed and how you will cancel to automatically stop charging for the later period.
What it says: “Notice of your decision to terminate must be given to WebHostingBuzz no less than 10 days prior to your billing date, but no later than three prior to your billing date.”
There are two key points:
- You cannot tell them that you want to cancel too soon, not earlier than ten days before the billing date, and
- Also, you cannot cancel after three days before the billing date.
Sounds weird, right? You have this little window of your time to notify them that you want to cancel; otherwise, they will say “no.”
To us, that seems like they are only trying to create a back door to not accept most cancellations without a minimum of trying to urge you to pay the renewal fee for the later period first.

Do We Recommend WebHostingBuzz?
Yes.
WebHostingBuzz has worked quite a bit in our tests. Uptime and page load times have been above average. Also, customer service is fast.
They also have access to many applications for beginners because they have the latest and greatest technology for advanced users. His politics
A 45-day refund is also legitimate.
Their cancellation policy is written in a way that means you have a small window to actually cancel before your card is charged again. And while the annual payment price is good, no new customer discount ensures a particularly low rate during the three primary years.
Overall, they are almost fine for making the top 10, but still an honest pick.
