Grand Ship Noah has been the cause of mystery among the fans for a long time. Noah was introduced in the Fishmen Island Arc leaving a question mark about the purpose of this massive ship. However, it was known that Joyboy once made a promise to the Fishmen that he’ll bring the ship to the surface of the sea, but Joy Boy refrained from fulfilling his promise and the reason of this refrainment is a mystery. Sea Kings are the only creatures that knew about the history of this ship.

Another significant revelation of One Piece was made during Fishmen Island Arc about prophecy by mermaid Shyarly. She predicted that a member from Straw Hats will destroy the Fish man Island one day. At first, it was thought that, that member would surely be Luffy but looking at the current scenarios of Egghead Arc, it is possible that it can be any member of Straw Hats other than Luffy.
The idea of Luffy destroying the Fish Man Island is hard to believe for some fans, while some think that it could happen under special circumstances. As declared by Oda that One Piece will be reaching it’s conclusion in 2025, It seems vulnerable for Straw Hats to go back to the Fish Man Island and destroy it, therefore, it is pointing towards the declaration that Luffy won’t be destroying the island.

Joyboy has been an important mystery of One Piece. His identity, appearance and history is not known but what’s known is that he left an apology on a Poneglyph for the people of Fish-Man island. He apologized for not fulfilling the promise he made to Fishmen. Though the details of this promise and the reason why he couldn’t fulfill his promise remains unclear, it was important enough for him to leave this ancient message behind. His mysterious figure has been the topic of numerous fan theories and debates.

Super Weapons are the highly powerful Weapons which have not been awakened yet but they are capable of destroying even the entire world. These weapons are:
- Poseidon: Poseidon is a unique power, which awakes in a mermaid of Ryugu Kingdom every few centuries. It has the power to control and command the Sea Kings. Current character possessing this power is princess Shirahoshi.
- Pluton: Pluton is said to be a gigantic ship capable of destroying an entire Island.
- Uranus: Uranus has not been introduced in the story yet, nor any important aspect of Uranus is known but it’s revelation can be a major twist in the story.
The existence of such weapons was revealed during the Alabasta Arc when the Crocodile and Warlord of the sea was in search of Pluton’s location along with the help of Nico Robin. The purpose of Ancient Weapons is not known but it is certain that will be awakened and appear during the finale and change the world.
The Message Left at Poneglyph
Skypiea is an island floating on the clouds. When Straw Hats reached there, Nico Robin discovered a Poneglyph with an extra inscription on it, that seemed like it have been written by Pirate Gol D. Roger. Roger’s pirates visited the island 20 years ago and Roger left a message in the same ancient language used on the Poneglyphs.
A question arose about how Roger managed to leave behind a message in the same ancient language. Recently, during a flashback it was revealed that the Daimyo and Samurai from Wano Country, Kozuki Oden had been with Roger pirates on their quest to discover One Piece and his knowledge of the language enabled Roger to leave the message. The revelation that the Pirate King had been to Skypiea and was tied to the Poneglyphs—deepened the story’s mystery and lore. And also created a contrast between Roger and Luffy’s adventure.
Awakening of Devil Fruits
Most Shōnen anime include moments when characters get stronger, same happened in One Piece. Devil Fruit is the power booster for One Piece characters. Once a Devil Fruit gets awakened by it’s owner, an ultimate rise in their potential occurs, enhancing the power and attacking tactics of the characters. Although, not all characters of One Piece awakened their Devil Fruit, which shows the uniqueness and grandness of Devil Fruits.
Devil Fruits are already exciting because they let Oda, the creator, explore all kinds of crazy powers. But the awakening adds more detail to this pre-existing fantasy based system. The protagonist Luffy has also awakened his Devil Fruit and reached the Gear 5 which has made him undefeatable. There are still some Devil Fruits awakenings to be done by Luffy and Straw Hats.
Artificial Devil Fruits
Devil Fruits have been a quiet interesting element of One Piece with their availability in different shapes and sizes. However, the introduction of artificial Devil Fruits increases the joy of readers. The Artificial Devil Fruits are a great addition to this already existing magical complex. SMILEs is the first ever artificial fruit to appear in the story. This fruit came forward during the Dressrosa Arc and Punk Hazard Arc. They were created by Caesar Clown and produced by Warlord Donquixote Doflamingo. The purpose of creating artificial Devil Fruits was to create a Zoan-type fruit using army of strong members like Kaido and Beast Pirates.
There are two types of Artificial Devil Fruits:
- Zoan-type Devil fruit created by Caesar
- Paramecia-type Devil Fruit created by Dr. Vegapunk
Dr. Vegapunk created Paramecia-type Devil Fruit for his Seraphim project. He created artificial Paramecia-type Devil Fruits using blood from existing users. This added layer of artificial Devil Fruits expanded the already huge variety of Devil Fruits, making the magic system even more complex and exciting.
The Unseen Mystery of Imu
The most important figure related to the World Government is Imu. His existence is actually a turning point of this storyline. At first, it was known that the World Government was ruled by Five Elders. Five Elders were the most powerful Celestial Dragons having their order on Holy Land of Mary Geoise. But, it was later shown that a more powerful authority than the Five Elders also exists which is Imu.
Five Elders work under Imu’s command. He secretly controls World Government, giving orders from the “Empty Throne”, a symbolic seat meant to show that no one ruler holds ultimate power in order to keep peace. However, it turns out that this seat is not empty after all.
Imu’s existence and true identity are known only by the Five Elders. However, Imu’s true power is still a mystery. This character has immense power and authority but it’s identity is still shrouded in mystery and a popular debate among the fans.
Raftel Island’s Real Name and Location of One Piece
One of the most subtle revelation made in One Piece was about the final island, Raftel. When the name of this island was revealed for the first time, there had been many questions about it since then. Among all the islands of One Piece storyline, this is the most important island because it said that One Piece is located at this island. Although, not much is known about this island, neither had it been shown in the series frequently, but during a recent flashback, a small revelation has been made regarding this island that it’s real name is Laugh Tale.
During the flashback, Roger and the entire Roger pirates had been shown laughing after discovering the One Piece as they had discovered the most legendary treasure of the world.
