The storyline of One Piece has been on Egghead Arc apparently which is the 32th arc of the story. In this arc, the Straw Hats crew has reached the Egghead Island where they met Vegapunk. About Vegapunk, he’s a scientist and is considered to be the smartest man of One piece World. The Egghead Arc is nearer to it’s conclusion, it has displayed legendary battles, confrontations along with the unveiling of many secrets of One Piece World.

Vivi’s Legendary Ancestry
Among the legendary Staw Hats crew of Luffy, Nefertari Vivi is also an honourable member. Along with being the princess of Arabasta Kingdom she was also a descendant of an epic ancestory. Her ancestor was among the twenty monarchs who laid the foundation of World Government 800 years ago, but she never moved to the Holy Land Mary Geoise.
The revelation tied to her is that Imu revealed before King Cobra that their ancestor was Nefertari D. Lili and Lili was the one behind prevalence of Poneglyphs across the world. However, the reason behind this act of Lili is still unknown but Imu have addressed that this act was the worst outcome for the World Government. There is a striking resemblance between Lili and Vivi which reveals why Imu was interested in her. This concept also involves the Will of D that those with initial D in their name always oppose the World Government.
Jaguar D. Saul is Alive
Jaguar D. Saul is a former Marine Vice Admiral who holds ties with Nico Robin’s past. He had captured Nico Robin’s mother Olivia Robin years ago. When he witnessed World Government’s buster call for destruction in Ohara, his faith in justice of World Government got dispersed completely and he defected from marines by freeing Olivia. Later on, He got shipwrecked on Ohara where he befriended Nico Robin. Saul saved nico’s life during buster call but Nico thought that he was dead as he was frozen by Vice Admiral Kuzan’s Devil Fruit. He had also taught Nico how to cheer up in tough or sad situations.
As mentioned earlier, Nico assumed Saul to be dead which made her heart heavy but during Egghead Arc, Nico was in tears of happiness when she discovered that Saul is alive. He also saved and conserved many important knowledge from Ohara like the books and sent that to Elbaf by the help of Giants. Due to these courageous parts played by Saul, he’s assumed to be “The Man of Flames” who might be having the Final Road Poneglyph leading the path to Laugh Tale and One Piece.
Joy Boy- Oldest Rival of Imu
Joy Boy plays a significant role in One Piece World. His name was mentioned for the first time in the Fishman Island Poneglyph where he made a promise to Fishman Island and it is assumed that as a fullfillment of this promise, he hid the One Piece on Laugh Tale. It was unveiled in Wano Arc that he was the last person to awaken the Human-Human Fruit (Nika model). Human-Human fruit is a mythical Devil fruit which is currently owned by Luffy.
After Dr. Vegapunk was killed in Egghead Arc, a prerecorded message of his circulated across the world in which he revealed the background of Joy Boy. He told that Joy Boy belonged to a Great Kingdom that existed 900 years ago during the Void Century. He further added that Joy Boy was the first to officially set a sail as a Pirate. Although his name is has become a stuff on myths and legends, but he had set an example and influenced future pirates to set sail. This revelation also defines why World Government was always seen eliminating pirates.
The Seraphims
As shown in the recent reverie, the Seven Warlords have been destroyed. These Warlords were powerful pirates that had worked in collaboration with World Government and became Three Great Powers of the world. However, Dr. Vegapunk had been working on the replacement of this group. These replacements are called Seraphim. Seraphims are special Pacifista units with Lunarian DNA due tp which they have silver hair, dark skin, black wings and the ability to produce fire.
These Seraphims resemble the child version of each Warlord with each one them having emotions and Devil Fruit powers while the original Warlords lacked Devil Fruit. Among them,
- S-Bear can use Paw-Paw Fruit like Kuma.
- S-Snake can use Love-Love Fruit like Hancock.
- S-Shark was given duplicated version of Swim-Swim Fruit as Jinbe didn’t had a Devil Fruit.
- S-Hawk was also given duplicated version of Dice-Dice Fruit because Mihawk lacked Devil Fruit.
The Submerged Country
After the Onigashima Raid, Nico Robin and Trafalgar D. Water Law payed a visit to Wano’s Road Poneglyph where they came to know that the current Wano country is built over the ruins of Original Wano Country which has been submerged because of a great War between the Great Kingdom and World Government’s 20 monarchs.
This was revealed by Dr. Vegapunk that this war involved Ancient Weapons and resulted the defeat of Joy Boy 800 years ago. The use of Ancient Weapons caused the sea levels to rise above 650 feet which caused the original Wano Country and many other nations to drown and become destroyed. This is why One Piece world is based on individual islands.
Power of Age-Age Fruit
The Age-Age Fruit has been property of Jewelry Bonney since her childhood. This fruit enables it’s user to change the age of any thing or person she touches. Although, the effects of this fruit aren’t long lasting but she can use it to change the ages of Vice Admirals back to their childhood. This is a high potential bearing fruit by which she can even turn a strong man like Luffy into an agedly man. It had been also revealed by her this fruit helped her to escape from a Cipher Pol agent.
Apart from this, Bonney can also turn herself into a potential future even into an unlikely one by the use of Age-Age Fruit. First, Bonney used it to copy Luffy’s Gear 3 attack and now, in Egghead Arc, she duplicated luffy’s Gear 5 transformation and used it against the Five Elders during the Buster Call.
She had always believed in Nika’s legend and now, this moment is very significant for her as it has made her a key character of Final saga. By duplicating Luffy’s Gear 5, she’s able to use Nika’s power and use it to encourage the world to fight back Imu and Celestial Dragons.
Tragic Past of Kuma
A great revelation about background of Bartholomew Kuma had been made in Egghead Arc. It has been disclosed that Kuma belongs to Buccaneers, a race hated by World Government. When Kuma was 4, his family was captured and enslaved. His mother died because of the abuse and he also witnessed his father being shot and killed right before his eyes. Fortunately, Several years later, Kuma escaped after acquiring his Devil Fruit.
Kuma’s true love was captured by World Government and was forced to marry a World Noble. Later on, she caught a fatal disease and handed over her newborn child, Bonney to Kuma. Kuma agreed to take care of his step-child but later on, Bonney also caught the same disease and Kuma couldn’t save her. Although, Kuma had tried his best to save Bonney, which led him to Dr.Vegapunk. Vegapunk convinced him to join the 7 Warlords and become a Pacifista, Kuma even sacrificed his life to save his stepdaughter.
This is one of the most saddening and traumatizing revelation regarding Kuma has recieved a lot of strong emotional response and has made the fans to perceive Kuma as the Kindest Character of the series.
Supernatural Devil Fruits
The Five Elders are taken as the most powerful Celestial Dragons of One Piece, however, they are the strongest servants of Imu. The reason of their exceptional strength was a question among the fans. It is disclosed that they are indeed formidable fighters. The first Elder was Saint Jaygarcia Saturn who appeared in the battle, showcasing a mythical Zoan type Devil Fruit form and now, in Egghead Arc, remaining Four Elders have also joined them with each of them being a mythical Zoan user. Each Elder has activated their Zoan powers and appears to be immortal.

After the Buster Call, it was unveiled that each fruit owned by Elders holds ties with Imu. Imu can control their powers and also take these powers away from them any time. As never seen in One Piece, this ability adds a thrilling element to the storyline.
Devil Fruit Origin Theory
Devil Fruits has been an important element of One Piece which grants inhumane powers to their users. However, the origin of these fruits has always been a mystery. But now, in Egghead Arc, Dr. Vegapunk has revealed a theory regarding Devil Fruit Origin before the Straw Hats while Luffy was busy confronting Rob Lucci. He told that Devil Fruits are physical form of humanity’s evolution with each fruit pointing towards a possible path for humanity’s future. These futures are the result of humanity’s hopes and desires.
He further explained that Devil Fruit users live alternate realities imagined by others. Because of these existences, the Devil Fruit users live in supernatural states, causing the sea—seen as the mother of nature—to reject them. This may not be the answer desired by the fans but it have introduced a new perception for Devil Fruits among the fans.
Master Plan of Imu
Who will be the final villain of One Piece is still a mystery, However, there’s a possibility that it can be Imu. Imu has been a supreme leader of World Government. According to the prediction of Dr. Vegapunk, a great flood is about to come in One Piece World which points towards Imu’s grand plan to drown the entire world of islands except the Holy Land Mary Geoise. Imu has destroyed the Lulusia Kingdom with the help of “Mother Flame” weapon which have raised the sea level by 3 feet along with a global earthquake.
There is an evidence Imu might have met Joy Boy in past, suggesting that they might be immortal. If this is true, it would explain why Imu wants to end something they started years ago. The weapon which was used to destroy Lulusia Kingdom couldn’t be activated until Mother Flames was created which define why Imu hasn’t carried out this plan sooner.

For the most beloved manga series One Piece’s, the most significant reason for fame is it’s storyline which is full of thrills, twists, surprises and mysteries.
